Wired glass is very common in our daily life, mainly used in roof skylights, balcony windows, doors, windows, partitions, cabinets, etc. Wired glass is also called shatter-proof glass. Its characteristics are superior fire resistance, can block flames, will not burst when burned at high temperatures, and will not cause fragments to hurt people when broken. Nowadays, there is an endless stream of laminated glass on the market, but everyone knows that iron wires can rust, so how do we prevent this kind of laminated glass from rusting?

1. When packaging, the laminated glass needs to be packed in a container, a pallet or a wooden box. Each piece of glass must be packed in a plastic bag or paper separately. In order to avoid scratches, it needs to be filled with light and soft materials. The words "face up, handle with care" are marked on the outside.

2. When the fireproof laminated glass is transported, the glass must not be placed flat or inclined, and the length direction should be the same as that of the vehicle, and there should be rainproof facilities. When handling the glass, avoid collision with hard objects to avoid damage to the glass. Products that are not used temporarily should be stored in a dry room, placed upright on the A-shaped shelf, inclined 5-100 with the vertical surface, and fixed with a rope.

3. Before installing the fireproof laminated glass, avoid high temperature exposure, high temperature rain and other climatic environments. The glass on the construction site should be stored in a ventilated and dry place. In the event of sudden weather changes or heavy rain, the construction personnel should check the site in time to prevent glass packaging The box is immersed in water, causing water seepage and discoloration at the edge of the wire glass.

4. In the installation process of fireproof laminated glass, do not install it savagely, handle it gently, and apply force evenly. Window frames should be made of products with high precision and not easy to rust. At the same time, the difference in thermal expansion coefficients of glass and frame materials should be fully considered, leaving room for it. The size of the glass and the window frame should be matched, the glass should be small rather than large, but the depth of the glass bite and the depth of the window frame groove must meet the requirements. Adopt the method of framing on all sides, and consider easy to quickly remove rainwater and dew condensation in the design. Keep the glass dry.

5. The metal frame cannot directly contact the glass. The glass and the frame should be filled with high-quality sealing materials, and pay attention to the compatibility of the sealing material and the PVB film. It is recommended to use silicone rubber or polysulfide rubber sealing materials. Installation design and construction operations must comply with the requirements of the national mandatory industry standard JGJ113-97<Technical Regulations for the Application of Building Glass.
