Close contact between selenium and adsorbent in glass batch is another key problem to reduce selenium volatilization. Therefore, selenium and its adsorbent must be pre-bonded together so that they can not be separated in the preparation of the mixture as far as possible.

 

The principle of selenium saving of selenium masterbatch is to use special technology to bind selenium adsorbent with selenium powder, so that the two adsorbents can not be separated in the mixture preparation. In this way, the selenium powder is adsorbed by adsorbent before the formation of the vitreous body, the volatilization is reduced significantly, and finally melts into the vitreous body.
