Laminated glass can also be called laminated glass. It is made of two or more pieces of glass with one or more layers of organic polymer interlayer film between them. After special high temperature pre-pressing (or vacuuming) and high temperature and high pressure processing, the glass and the interlayer film are permanently bonded As a whole composite glass product. The intermediate film of laminated glass generally includes: PVB, SGP, EVA, PU, etc. This intermediate film can not only resist the impact of some heavy objects, but also resist the transmission of bullets within a certain period of time. Even if the glass is broken, it will not fall and hurt people. It can be seen that its safety precaution coefficient is relatively high, which can prevent the occurrence of incidents of glass breaking and injuries and penetrating falls.

Laminated glass is manufactured by processing multiple pieces of glass using processes such as high temperature and high pressure. According to its surface properties, it can be divided into transparent laminated glass and embossed laminated glass.

Transparent laminated glass generally means that the two sides of the glass are relatively smooth, and the other side can be seen through one side of the glass; while the patterned glass has one side of the glass that is relatively smooth and flat, and the other side has a concave-convex shape.

If it is divided according to the grid shape, it can be divided into laminated glass such as square grid, diamond grid and flat grid. According to the different types of laminated glass, it can be divided into bulletproof and ordinary laminated glass.

In the fields of construction, doors and windows, laminated glass has other advantages besides providing safety accidents:

1. Good sound insulation performance: Generally, in buildings, the interlayer material of laminated glass is PVB interlayer, which has the function of preventing and filtering sound waves. Therefore, if you live in a place with severe noise, you can choose laminated glass to reduce noise.

2. Anti-ultraviolet ability: PVB interlayer also has the function of filtering ultraviolet rays, which can absorb more than 99% of ultraviolet rays to prevent furniture from fading and aging due to the influence of ultraviolet rays.

3. Good energy-saving performance: Laminated glass made of PVB film can reduce the penetration of sunlight and effectively block heat.
